How the calculator works

Into cost of goods, your margin, importer or distributor margin, excise, wholesale margin, venue or retail margin and VAT. Each band is shown in euros and as a share of the shelf price. Defaults are industry averages for your category; every band is adjustable.
From Sipflow's country database for every EU market and category. Spirits, wine and beer have their own excise rates; coffee and most soft drinks have none.
When you deliver direct, the wholesale band disappears and its value lands in your margin. That is the money available for trade support or profit.
It is the highest per-bottle support that still keeps your target net margin at the volume you enter. The default target keeps 40% of your brand margin; you can change it.
